Making the PYP Happen in the Classroom

This display is the main focal point in my classroom.  

It displays our current Unit of Inquiry and corresponding central idea and key concepts.  

I also have an area for students to write inquires that they want to research during the unit.  
I use these inquires to help drive the direction of our lessons.

To help ensure the PYP vocabulary becomes part of our everyday speech, we keep the learner profiles and attitudes visible and accessible in both English and mother tongue .

At the beginning of the year we, as a class, review the learner profiles.  Short written explanations are included along with a student illustrated pictures to go with each.
